Aloha! I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist in private practice, offering Telehealth services from Colorado's Front Range. As Owner and Founder of The Tattooed Therapist, I am a Nationally Board-Certified Counselor and hold licenses in Colorado as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Hawai'i as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
MY APPROACH
I started The Tattooed Therapist to create a healing practice that empowers individuals on their journey to wellness, while at the same time, challenging the stereotypical experience of therapy by introducing holistic and client-centered approaches to healing. As a single mother of two in my 50s, having experienced my own struggles and healing journey, I understand the importance of having compassionate guidance during difficult times.
I have a decade of experience working in mental health with adults of all ages, particularly college students and young adults. I work to integrate various therapeutic interventions, tailored to meet the needs of each individual. Whether working through life transitions, anxiety and depression, complex grief and loss, or other life stressors, I take a collaborative approach so that we can identify your strengths, offer opportunity for growth, and create a plan to live purposefully.
More: I enjoy connecting with the outdoors - on land and underwater, studying traditional martial arts, traveling, a good cup of coffee, and of course, tattoos!
I'll be there for you.... I offer a laid-back space to show up as you are without judgement, talk about the hard stuff that we inevitably experience through life, and maybe have a laugh or two in the process.
